A. We aim to limit our impact on the environment as much as possible, therefore, the contents of each box will be placed inside ONE postal box as seen in the product pictures. A shipping sticker will be placed on top, our logo and a fragile sticker. It does not come in a 'physical hamper' or an extra box. However, your contents will be handled and placed with the utmost care and be wrapped in blue tissue paper, with a gift note placed in the box (if you provided one). Additional padding/packing is included if required in the form of paper or card shred or roll. What a 'belter' of a gift to receive if your recipient is living away from home!
A. We aim to dispatch boxes with in 2 working days, however during busy periods i.e. Christmas, this can take up to 4 working days. We also heavily depend on the efficiency of our suppliers, therefore some delays may happen which our out with our control.
A. We deliver internationally with our shipping partners DHL and within the UK with Royal Mail. Please see our wider Terms & Conditions relating to shipping here. We can ship to remote places also so please get in touch with us if you are shipping somewhere remote and we will see what we can do.

A. The majority of countries do not charge duties on shipments, however in some cases, taxes are charged on arrival into the country and charges vary. Unfortunately, The Scot Box or DHL or relevant delivery partners do not have any control or influence and any duties imposed are at the complete discretion of the relevant Customs Authority. If you are concerned about either being charged duties or have been charged duties, feel free to get in touch and we can advise and assist you, however, any duties or charges are not the responsibility of The Scot Box.

Canada (A popular destination, in a small amount of cases, duties have been imposed though the application of duties seems to be random.)

A. Our international shipping partner is DHL Express which is an express shipping service with tracking facilities throughout the transit of your box. Our UK standard delivery partner is Royal Mail and the free shipping option is Second Class which has limited tracking information. All shipping costs are set by our shipping partners and The Scot Box has no control over the cost of Shipping.
Shipping cost is dependant on box size, weight and destination. For an accurate quotation on the shipping cost, please see the "shipping" tab on each product page. For more remote areas, please input the address on the checkout page so that our system can calculate an accurate cost.

A. Please provide a local contact number rather than a UK number where possible! Our delivery partners will make every effort to get every package to the specified destination safely and on time. If the recipient is not at the address when the package arrives, the courier will leave a note and may try again within the next 2-3 days. If delivery attempts have been unsuccessful, notification will be left at the residence and it will then be up to the recipient to contact the delivery company to arrange collection or re-delivery.
A. No, unfortunately at present we do not have the facilities in our warehouse to process payment over the phone, however if you are having issues with the website, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our utmost best to assist you.
A. The best 1st step is to contact either DHL or Royal Mail with your tracking number and they can usually sort any issues very efficiently. Contacting The Scot Box first may slow down any processes. However, if you are having further issues, do not hesitate to get in touch with us on email@example.com and we will assist you.
A. DHL do not deliver to PO Boxes, inputting a PO Box may cause your order to be rejected and refunded. In some cases we may be able to ship via Royal Mail to PO boxes. Please get in touch with us firstname.lastname@example.org before placing an order.
A. We recommend that you let us and our delivery partners do all the hard work and send directly to your recipient.
