Terms of service
The Scot Box aims to make your online shopping experience as simple as possible and we have worldwide shipping options available to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
Domestic Shipping
All our orders are packed in Edinburgh to a high standard. The items are processed within 48hrs and then shipped to you via Royal Mail delivery which can take around 48hrs. Please note this delivery is untracked and you should contact Royal Mail directly if you do not receive your box within this time.
To guarantee delivery, we recommend your parcel to be sent to an address where there will be someone to receive it between 9 am-5 pm.
International Shipping
We offer worldwide shipping. Please see our shipping options in the cart during checkout for further details on pricing.
The items are processed within 48hrs and then shipped to you via DHL Express delivery which can take the following estimated times:
Worldwide: 2-7 working days
Australia: 6-7 working days
We do not accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances eg; strikes, health crisis, weather, flight delays etc.
We will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or can not supply our products.
We can not accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to customs activities in respective countries, neither we nor the delivery company have control of this. Please note each country has different customs clearance levels. Although most countries accept all imports some items may be refused entry to a specific country.
Every effort will be made to have your products delivered as quickly and as safely as possible but specific delivery times or dates cannot be guaranteed and may take longer.
If your recipient is not available to accept their item when we attempt delivery, the following may happen:
- A notification of attempted delivery will be left at the address by the courier
- It will then be the responsibility of the recipient to collect the package from the nearest available post office or sorting office, specified on the notification left at the address
- If no attempt is made to collect the package, it will be returned to the sender and is non-refundable
- A box may be resent at the customer's expense for up to 30 days after receipt
Incorrect delivery address / undeliverable parcel
If an incorrect delivery address is provided or a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, an extra postage charge will apply to send it again.
Refund Policy
All orders are non-refundable. In the event that an item is damaged during the shipping process feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you with any issues. Evidence via email or post of damage will be required. Please contact us at thescotbox-sweets@gmail.com if you have any other queries in relation to refunds.
Cancellations
Cancellations are only accepted before the order has been dispatched. If the order has been dispatched prior to cancellation the order will be deemed valid.
Payment
We accept Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Paypal, Mastercard, Shop Pay and VISA via Shopify Payments. The Scot Box reserves the right to amend the price of our products without notice.
